Two weeks ago, I thought I knew where we were headed — that we were about to take a decisive progressive step toward greater inclusivity and equality, care and compassion, personal accountability and shared responsibility.
Then last week, I thought I knew where we were headed — toward something that looked and felt like the end of the world.
This week, I’m trying to think about direction in a less linear way. In our multidimensional lives, direction is more of an arc or sphere — expanding and radiating every which way. Or perhaps more accurately like infinite spheres — our own and each other’s — intersecting and overlapping, interrupting and reinforcing…
I’m trying to remember that no matter what it seems like and feels like, we’re always at choice, empowered to move in every direction all the time. And whichever way we go we send out ripples. Ripples that matter. Ripples of creation. Onward, inward, upward, outward.
It feels like we’re headed every which way. My question is: How conscious and creative can I be in it?
I can’t wait to see you Saturday at 6:00, at Albuquerque Center for Spiritual Living (abqcsl.org). With my talented friends, Patty Stephens & Sid Fendley. Join us for community & cheer at 5:30. XO, Rev. Drew
