“Between two worlds life hovers like a star, twixt night and morn, upon the horizon’s verge.” — Lord Byron
Life is always on the brink, always on the verge of becoming, always tumbling inevitably into the unknown. This stirs up great emotional energy! It can feel like excitement, when we’re anticipating something good. Or it can feel like anxiety, when we’re fearing something not-so-good. Most of the time it’s a mixed bag because we’re really not sure what to expect.
What we don’t always recognize is: how we relate to life on the brink is exactly what creates that which we’re on the brink of.
Can’t wait to see you Saturday at 6:00, at Albuquerque Center for Spiritual Living (abqcsl.org). With special music by my friend, Karl Richardson. Join us at 5:30 for wine & cheer! XO, Rev. Drew
